The contract for the project was awarded in November 2020 and is identified as Contract 3408 (Third Runway Concourse and Apron Works). The winning contractor is BUCG-CCCL Joint Venture (Beijing Urban Construction Group – China State Construction Engineering Corporation Limited Joint Venture), and the total contract value exceeds HKD 15.61 billion. The related foundation and substructure works contract, identified as Contract 3405 (Third Runway Concourse Foundation and Substructure Works), was awarded in February 2020 to China Road and Bridge Corporation Limited, with a total contract value exceeding HKD 4.639 billion.
